Congratulations to Lynnette Becker who scored a hole-in-one on the seventh hole at Haven Golf Course on December 9, 2025 during league play. It was the first hole-in-one of her golfing career and we celebrate her achievement!
Arizona Golf Association’s 2026 State Medallion Club Team Tournament
Linda Nicholl, Haven Lady Niners 2025 Club Champion and low gross winner, and Lynnette Becker, low net champion, traveled to Phoenix this January to compete in the Arizona Golf Association’s State Medallion Championship at Oakwood Country Club.
In February 2026 play begins for Haven Lady Niner members to compete to become next year’s State Medallion club representatives.
Ladies Golf Clinics
Taught by Haven golf pro Dan Kauffmann, the ladies golf clinics will be held in January and February 2026 on Thursdays from 10:00-11:00am. Cost is $25 per session, limited to six people per session. Register at the Haven Pro Shop. Here is the schedule:

About
The Haven Women’s Nine-Hole Golf Association, known as the Haven Lady Niners, play weekly on Tuesdays throughout the year. We are a fun and enthusiastic group of amateur golfers who play in accordance with the rules of the United States Golf Association (USGA) and the Arizona Golf Association (AGA)
Weekly nine-hole games include friendly and diverse competitions such as low gross, low putts, gross minus putts, “bingo, bango, bongo” and “three blind mice.” All members are required to establish and maintain a USGA handicap to promote fair play for golfers of all levels and experience. Members play to an 18-hole index of 54 or less.

At its annual general meeting December 4, 2025, the Haven Lady Niners elected the following members to serve on its Board of Directors:

Board meetings are held monthly from October through May, consistent with the organization’s bylaws and rules of the association. Members are encouraged to volunteer and keep us running smoothly.
